Film & Television Apps on iOS in Hungary: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top film and television applications on iOS in Hungary showed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

HBO Max: Stream Movies & TV by WarnerMedia Global Digital Services, LLC, saw significant fluctuations. Weekly revenue reached a peak of approximately $65K in late November, with active users climbing from 85K to nearly 119K by the end of December. Downloads were fairly consistent, peaking at around 8.9K in the week before Christmas.

Netflix experienced steady activity with weekly revenues hovering around $2.5K to $3.2K. A notable spike in downloads occurred in mid-December, reaching over 8.8K, while active users peaked at nearly 150K during the holiday season.

RTL+ Magyarország showcased varied download patterns, with a high of 11.8K in October. Active user numbers saw a peak at 33K in November but declined to around 10.6K by the end of December.

TV2 Play demonstrated a declining trend in downloads, starting at 8K in early October and dropping to just over 1K by the end of the quarter.

Disney+ reported strong revenue figures, peaking at around $97K in early December. Downloads reached their highest at 5.8K during the Christmas week, while active users showed a significant increase to over 72K in the same period.
